Green jobs are occupations that help to protect the environment, reduce pollution, conserve natural resources, or support sustainability and climate resilience. Such jobs cut across many sectors like renewable energy, agriculture, construction, transport, waste management, and manufacturing. Green jobs are important in the reduction of environmental damage, lowering greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), promote renewable energy use, support sustainable economic growth, and create employment opportunities. While green trading generally refers to commercial activities involving environmentally friendly products, services, or environmental markets, such as buying and selling of eco-friendly goods, carbon trading, and renewable energy trading. The paper looks at the pros and cons of green jobs and trading to the overall benefit of humanity.
