Unlike traditional cooking sites, which are often dominated by ads or behind paywalls, open-source platforms give everyone the opportunity to contribute, adjust, and improve recipes. This open exchange creates a rich, ever-growing collection of culinary ideas that anyone can tap into, from beginners to seasoned chefs.In this study, we dive into how these platforms work by looking at a few popular examples. We explore how they bring people together, whether it’s to share tips, try new recipes, or swap cooking techniques from different cultures. By making recipe sharing open and collaborative, these platforms break down traditional barriers to creativity in the kitchen. They allow cooks of all levels to contribute their own ideas, learn new skills, and experiment with flavors without worrying about restrictions.We also take a closer look at how the community plays a role in ensuring recipes are accurate, helpful, and up-to-date. Feedback from users helps us to run the platform smoothly and also it keep platform more reliable source culinary enthusiasts. This paper concludes by suggesting how these platforms could evolve to better support creativity and learning, further opening up the kitchen to everyone, no matter their background or experience level.
