This study explores the convergence between economic empowerment, financial security, and women's well-being in Nigeria. Using the mixed method, a sample of 660 women and their caregivers is drawn from Yakurr, Cross River State. The probability and non-probability research approach is used to reach the respondents. Questionnaire and in-depth interviews are instruments for data collection. Data is analysed using descriptive statistics such as percentages and frequency tables, while Chi-square (X2) is used to test the significance of the relationship in the two hypotheses stated. Findings reveal that access to economic empowerment has resulted in financial independence and improved well-being for women in the study area. The study recommends that the vulnerable and marginalised members of society be considered first in all economic empowerment programmes. Policymakers should formulate all-inclusive and participatory policies to allow women better access and utilise all the available empowerment programmes to develop self and society.
