Academic stress, procrastination, and psychological well-being have emerged as important areas of research due to the growing mental health challenges faced by young people in academic settings. The increasing pressure to achieve academic success, combined with poor self-regulation and delayed task completion, has significantly affected students' emotional health and overall well-being. This study presents a bibliometric analysis to examine the global research landscape on academic stress, procrastination, and psychological well-being among youth. A total of 100 open-access research articles were selected using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed through bibliometric techniques, including annual scientific production, citation analysis, author and source productivity, co-authorship networks, and keyword co-occurrence analysis. The findings reveal a steady growth in scholarly publications, with a remarkable increase after 2021, reflecting heightened research interest in youth mental health, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic. Citation analysis identifies several influential studies and leading contributors that have significantly shaped this research domain. Keyword mapping highlights major themes such as academic stress, anxiety, depression, psychological well-being, self-regulation, mindfulness, and resilience, while recent trends indicate a growing emphasis on preventive interventions and well-being-oriented approaches. The study also demonstrates strong interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers from psychology, education, behavioral sciences, and public health. Overall, this bibliometric review provides a comprehensive understanding of the intellectual structure, emerging research trends, and future research directions in the field. The findings offer valuable insights for researchers, educators, policymakers, and mental health professionals seeking to develop effective strategies for improving the psychological well-being and academic functioning of youth.
