It provides passage over obstructions without closing off the path below. Recent technological advancements have made conventional bridges obsolete. These days, box type bridges are becoming more popular in modern highway systems, including urban interchanges, because of their efficient dispersal of congested traffic, their economic considerations, and their aesthetic appeal.
